Have you heard the story about a boy and his tree?  There was a tree and he loved a boy.  In the end, the boy loved the tree back.  It is a nice story.  Have you heard the story about a girl and her kite?  There was a girl and she loved her kite. The kite loved her too.  It is a very nice story.

I will Take Care of You, Kite!

I will take care of you, my pretty pink flower. Face you in sunshine and give you a shower. Fertilizer, soil, a juicy earthworm. Bloom magnificently with your friend, the fern.

I will take care of you, my gregarious grey walk. Detailed designs with my colored chalk. When summertime rings, we sing, a hopscotch game. In snow season, I will carve out my name.

I will take care of you, my perfect purple shoes. Wearing my dress you are easy to choose! Dance in you, prance in you, leap and spin. Down the street and against the wind.

I will take care of you, my outrageous orange book. Thumb over your pages and take a look. Your poetic pictures I plan to share. With my dolls, my pets and all who care.

I will take care of you, my glistening green frog. Mark a spot on top of a log. Do as desired: hop, ribbit and sleep. Adventure arises, splash deep in the creek.

I will take care of you, my beautiful blue kite. I will gently guide and admire your flight. Sweep you back down so you will know. You are safe with me wherever we go.

I will take care of you, my racy red bike. Shine you up, I know you will like! The fast speed, we exceed, past friends at play. I will ride you forever, as long as you stay.

I will take care of you, my fluffy brown bear. Whisper sweet lullabies in your ear. “Behave, Mr. Bear and sweet peace tonight.” Feelings of comfort with you in sight.

I will take care of you, my precious sweet sister. Triumphantly together, whirling like a twister. I will protect you and guide you and teach you to treasure. The love for a sister that lasts forever.

Now, that is the story of the girl who whispered one spring day to her kite.  Moms do not hear many tales from young hearts.   On this day, the girl’s mom captured a girl’s whisper to a kite.  The girl held her green kite tightly. The girl drew the kite close to her mouth.  The girl searched and searched, and found the kite’s ear. She softly said, “I will take care of you kite.”

The girl grew and grew, and did many spectacular things from her heart.  It poured over into care of all special gifts.  All special people.

Good stories do not need to end. The girl continues to take care of her kite.  The girl flies her kite when the wind speaks exactly right.  The girl whispers to her kite kind thoughts with care. The girl taught her mom how her mom could fly her own kite.

The girl’s mom wrote a lovely story about her daughter and her green kite and her own green kite too.
