Lean back to the late 1900’s.–Girl scout camp tri-city area in Michigan. Girl Scouts meant to make a sitting mat with a creature name. Young S only wanted to be panda but she had to be a cricket.
Essentially, The Cricket is a survival story, not from Girl Scout camp, but the pounding footsteps upon us. As always, this was a fresh write and needs years of editing. I hope you enjoy.
